IN 2014

In 2014, the Bank introduced various new

products and services to provide customers

with:

quick and easy access to financial data,

data displays compatible with wide range

of devices,

»

»

participation in promotional campaigns

through web sites, and

»

»

instant customer applications for expats

in Turkey.

İşbank continued efforts to improve the

Bank’s overseas websites. The Bahrain site

was renewed with a parallel look and feel

with the Bank’s other websites. Meanwhile,

exchange rates in USD, EUR and British

Sterling began to be published at isbank.

in addition, the loan calculator and

loan application was made available on the

Bank’s Georgia website.

Innovative Applications and Product

Development

Always innovative with a customer

oriented approach

Operating with the vision of being the

market leader by enriching the Bank’s

product range, İşbank continued to offer

new products and services to customers in

2014:

İşCep Intel Identity Protection

Technology was provided to customers,

as the first Bank in the World.

»

»

In order to increase the Bank’s business

activities in the agricultural sector,

İşbank established Agricultural Banking

Services desks in 14 branches located

in agriculturally intensive markets to

provide dedicated services to customers

in this key sector.

»

With an agreement between İşbank and

Western Union, a fast money transfer

method used in more than 200 countries

around the world, the Bank started to

intermediate Western Union transactions

in August.

»

Stock Market Trading Platform operations

were made available on the Internet

In 2014, İşbank was presented with a wide

range of prizes and awards, as it has been

for many years. These awards included:

Banking applications in the

international arena are expanded and

renovated.

İşbank continued to serve overseas

markets through 25 branches, excluding

subsidiaries, and 10 ATMs in 2014. At

the branches of the Bank that provide

integration with the local payment

systems, improvement efforts in retail

and commercial loan applications, loan

allocation and extending processes were

progressed.

At İşbank, business processes are

continuously improved.

Efforts for the complete renewal of the

Bank’s credit card system infrastructure

continued. With the new system

infrastructure, the Bank aims to roll out

credit card related innovations more quickly,

increase product diversity and improve

branch transactions.

Work to improve the effectiveness of

allocation processes continued at the Bank.

Retail credit card and cash loan allocation

processes were transferred to a new

allocation platform.

Efforts to speed up branch transactions and

improve the user experience of employees

also continued in 2014.

İşbank works to continuously improve the alternative

distribution channels service network by expanding and

refreshing the product range.
