The Payment Plan Gold Loan product,
which allows installment repayments of
principal repayment of gold loans before
the loan term, was rolled out during the
year.

The loans which were indexed on foreign
exchange rates with floating interest
rates and in a revolving fashion were
offered to customers.

In order to meet the needs of its
commercial customers and increase
the Bank’s commission revenues,
monthly and yearly tariff packages for
advantageous prices were designed
for customers in the SME and business
segment. The following composition
transactions have been integrated into
these tariff packages: Internet/mobile
money transfers, branch/ATMmoney
transfers, branch check collection, bill
collection, collection check books and
account maintenance fee transactions.
Advanced methods in agricultural
banking
İşbank continued improving risk
assessment procedures of agricultural
loans. The aimwas to ensure that loan
applications of customers active in
the agricultural sector are subject to
standardized allocation processes, including
effective risk management components.
This effort also ensures that a healthy and
profitable agricultural credit portfolio is
created. New features were added to the
KKB Agricultural Loans Assessment System
(TARDES). These will be used in meeting the
funding needs of customers who operate in
the agricultural sector.
Serving as a solution partner and
consultant to enterprises
İşbank closely monitors and adapts to the
changes and transformations of firms
and continues to provide consultancy and
information services uninterruptedly in line
with the developments in the global and
national economy.
In 2015, İşbank’s Headquarters and field
teams continued to make extensive
customer visits, which served to identify
the needs of about 164 thousand
commercial banking customers in the field
and helped the Bank meet those needs as
quickly as possible.
In addition to customer visits, “İş’le
Buluşmalar” Meetings were held in İzmir
as part of the Bank’s information sharing
efforts.
As part of consultancy-related efforts, in
cooperation with KOSGEB and TOSYÖV
(Turkish Foundation for Small and Medium
Sized Businesses and the Self-Employed),
KOSGEB Applied Female Entrepreneurship
training courses were organized in Kayseri,
Bursa and Samsun. The aim of these
trainings is to raise female entrepreneurs’
awareness on business issues and provide
themwith high quality, value added
products and services. The following
topics are covered in these courses:
Assessment of Entrepreneurship Qualities,
Development of Business Ideas and
Creativeness Exercises, Market Research,
Production, Management and Financial
Planning.
“İş’te KOBİ” SMEWebsite
The “İş’te KOBİ” SME Website–
istekobi.com.tr – is used by first and
foremost by SMEs but consulted by other
enterprises of all sizes. The website
currently has almost 77 thousand
registered members. The number of SMEs
introducing their firms on the site’s SME
Market, in the same period, totaled nearly
11 thousand.
To date, “İş’te KOBİ” SME Website has
won more than 34 awards at national
and international events in recognition of
its excellence. The website includes the
following rich content with its members
and other users: recent news, articles,
sector reports, special videos, interviews,
and expert opinions.
